New Construction and Renovations are complete for the 65,000 SF and 8,000 SF Office Space. The warehouse consisted of a PEMB with foundation walls comprising a new truck court and trucker’s lounge. The new PEMB is free-span with no interior colum lines, has a standing seam roof and liner panels that extend from floor to ceiling. Fire Wall Assemblies were included to separate process areas and office from the new warehouse. This facility also features the latest / greatest dock equipment safety features available and automated ventilation systems.

Principle was hired for multiple additions and renovations at the LaGrange Plant. The first project involved building a 30′ x 600′ wall to separate a warehouse into two areas. One area was conditioned to create a production area. Two mobile office units were added with sidewalks for covid testing on the front of the plant. A three story addition was then added on the back of the plant. It houses blowers and bailers for production equipment along with advanced sensitive control equipment and a highly regulated heating and air conditioned space. Principle replaced two 30 ton split units in the existing plant as well as reroofing one of the buildings.

Principle Construction was hired to add 11,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space at Nesper International. The project has no interior columns and a clear span of 75 feet. Three cranes are hung and supported by the roof. The concrete slab is topped with a Sikka product to add an orange peel 10,000 lbs/sf protective coating. The addition is located on the back of the existing plant. The Design-Build team consisted of Smith Design Group for architectural design, and Starzer Brady Fagan for structural design. Nesper is a German based firm and this is their only U.S. operation. They manufacture contact rivets, stamped parts and plastic assemblies for the electrical and electronic industries.

For Fokker Services, a Dutch aerospace company refurbishing aircraft components, we completed extensive upgrades at their LaGrange, GA, facility. The work included a new solar farm, 10,000 square feet of warehouse space, a new test cell, and renovations to 20,000 square feet of office space. This project enhanced capacity and modernized the site with minimal disruption, all while the client remained in operation.

Principle was hired by Interface Flooring to build an interior break room and outside gathering and eating pavilion and seating spaces. The interior break room included refrigerators, microwaves, vending machines, seating areas, and lobby renovations.

This project involved adding 17′ to the roof to allow for taller equipment to fit. Principle worked with Interface Engineering to determine the footing design and column spacing for the new structural columns. The project was completed within the short schedule to allow for the equipment to be installed.

In phase 2 of the Interface Kyle 3 project, Principle Construction installed the civil infrastructure to support the equipment modification completed earlier in phase 1. The project included the addition of 460 ft. of access drive with DOT guardrails, 5 ft. depth Silo base pad with auger-cast pile foundation, 18 ft. x 56 ft. pre-engineered metal building, new fencing and landscaping.

This 5,200 SF primary care facility located in Hamilton, Georgia is a collaboration between Mercer University and Harris County government. Southern A&E was the architect. The project consisted of renovations of an existing library updated to a state-of-the-area facility including 8 exam rooms, X-ray imaging room, consultation rooms, patient waiting rooms, Doctors offices, and receptionist desk.

Principle renovated Building 100 in the Medical Park adjacent to WellStar Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia to accommodate two new doctors. Complete renovations were made to the upper floor and lower floor of the building. Two new lobbies, three doctors offices, multiple exam rooms and a lab were added.

UrgenCare Clinic in LaGrange, Georgia is a 2,000 sq. ft. build-out of an empty retail space. A ribbon slab had been poured which was infilled after plumbing and electrical utilities were installed. The new UrgenCare Clinic office has a nurses station, lab, administration offices, eight treatment rooms and an X-ray suite.

Principle was hired as a design-build partner with 2WR Architects to renovate an existing structure located in the Main Street Village in Columbus, GA. The new office will house support operations for the Hughston Clinic. Principle President Leon Moody said “The Owner requested an accelerated schedule and with the help of a great team we were able to hit our goal.

Principle Construction was hired to renovate Valley Park Manor, a retirement center in Valley, AL. The renovation took four months to complete and included patient rooms, dining room, lobby and sitting areas, and a commercial kitchen.  A laundry room and storage room were added at the end of the project.

The City of LaGrange hired Principle and Smith Design Group for this detailed project. Phase one of this project added an evidence room, offices, uniform storage, locker room, weight room, and evidence vehicle storage underneath the existing LPD parking garage. Phase one exterior improvements included a new facade around the structure, new lighting, and landscaping. Phase two consisted of a new parking lot, additional exterior enhancements, and renovations to the existing two story LPD Building. Phase three is currently underway and consists of renovations to the third floor where the detectives’ offices, interrogation rooms, meeting rooms and various offices are located.

The Chambers County 911 Command Center features state-of-the-art technology housed in a large concrete bunker with bullet proof doors and walls. It has three levels of redundancy to prevent any loss of power. All local EMS personnel are able to communicate with one another via this facility during a storm or emergency.

The Northwest Harris County Volunteer Fire Department hired Principle to conduct planning, preconstruction, design and construction of this 7,000 SF rural fire station. Principle worked with the owner to achieve their budget. Construction was completed in three months. The facility includes two bays, a kitchen and living quarters.

Fire Station #5 is the newest station in LaGrange, Georgia and is a Command Post to be used for Emergencies and Natural Disasters. It is centrally located in the City and is directly across the street from WellStar West Georgia Health Center. The 7,800 SF facility has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, command offices, gym, and a state-of-the-art communication system. The exterior is accented by the 32 foot tall tower with white cast stone and a two-story glass façade. The original pole was saved from Station One when it was demolished and installed in Fire Station #5 thus adding a meaningful piece of history to the new station.

Principle Construction was hired as Construction Manager to design and construct fire stations in Woodbury, Durand, Odessadale, Lone Oak, The Cove, and Luthersville. Meriwether County created a new Fire Tax District to provide funds for their new fire station program.

The Town of Pine Mountain hired Principle to build a new Public Works Facility. Principle ordered and erected a Pre-Engineered Metal Building and built out offices, restrooms, interior storage and storage for mowers and tractors under a large overhang outside the building.

This project involved renovating the historic Officers Club at Ft. Benning. Interior renovations included upfit in the lobby, restrooms, and a large ballroom.
